Ari­ma San­ta Rosa Li­ons Club's eighth an­nu­al 5K, Walk for Sight, will take place on Re­pub­lic Day (Sep­tem­ber 24). The walk starts at the Lar­ry Gomes Sta­di­um, Mal­abar, Ari­ma, from 6 am. Ear­ly res­gis­tra­tion dead­line is Sep­tem­ber 17 and costs $40. Reg­is­tra­tion on the race day it­self will cost $45.

There will be lots of give­aways and all ath­letes will walk home with a medal for par­tic­pa­tion. Break­fast will be on sale from 7 am to 10 am.
