Former champion jockey, Ricky Jadoo can become the hero of Neal & Massy Day At The Races, if he can ride the winner of both feature events at the Stanta Rosa Park on Wednesday. Jadoo, who is one of the best riders at the centralised facility, shared his thoguhts on the two big races on Independence Day and said, he hopes, he can win them both. In the Bernard Dulal-Whiteway Independence Cup on the turf which looked in good condition, Jadoo beleives he has the horse to win. He stated, "I think my filly, Treasure Each Day can win that event. She has been improving steadily over the past months and has shown that she has a big heart. Trainer Dr Ryan Shim has her right and she will go well, with her light impost."
Jadoo continued, "She comes into this event after two good wins on the turf track and meets some of her rivals on four to five kilos better terms. Again, she is known to act on the turf, while champion, Bruceontheloose has never raced on the grass. But his trainer, John O'Brien has won the race for the past five years and he will not just send Bruceontheloose in this event, unless he believes he can handle the surface. In the Neal & Massy Santa Rosa Classic, Jadoo fancies his chance on the Dougals Bennet trained, Invictus which has been galloping really well. He said, "I think Invistus has a touch of class and will go well. Should we catch them napping, then I can snatch this race from them. But I hope to have a great day at the races on Independence Day.
