Mani­ram "Boboy' Ma­haraj bask­ing in the glo­ry of his In­de­pen­dence Cup suc­cess with First To Fly, can again claim top ho­n­ours this week­end when he sad­dles top-weight­ed Black­stone Street and Back On Top in the fea­ture 1,750 me­tres event for Three-Year-old and over rat­ed 100 -80. The for­mer Stew­ards Cup win­ner, has not been at his best for some time but with Ma­haraj's sta­ble be­gin­ning to tick, Black­stone Street could re­gain the win­ning thread at the main ex­pense of sta­ble­mate and 2010 Der­by win­ner Back on Top.

The De­r­ick Mosca trained Burst of En­er­gy and the Ter­rance Thomas trained Strikes Not Spares which will be seek­ing to re­peat his suc­cess of three weeks ago are ex­pect­ed to go close. Oth­ers in the field in­clude the speedy El Ban­di­do De Oro, Cu­bic Ca­pac­i­ty and Proud Ken­tuck­ian. When en­tries were tak­en for the eight-race pro­gramme a to­tal of 90 hors­es took en­try.
