Local golfer Natalya Rahamatula, walked away with the "A" class championship title on the second and final day of the AIB Woman Golf Open at the St Andrew's Golf Course, Moka, Maraval. Rainy conditions did not hamper Rahamatula who finished the day with a five over par 77 and a two-day total of 152. Emily Ramsahai was second and Pauline Raynor third in the gross category. The Net winner was Guyana's Christine Sukhram.
In the "B" division, Synthia Nelson maintained her one-stroke lead to hold off Angela Hodgkinson and Kitty Murphy. Renee Ayoung was the Net winner. The highlight in the B Class was the hole-in-one by Carolyn Maingot on the par 3 11th hole. Brenda Clarke beat out Chandra Jaggernauth to win the "C" Class. First day leader Serena Mackenzie fell back to 4th overall but copped the Net title.
