Daren Ganga is hoping his wife who joined the team in India will bring 'Lady Luck' and his team can win the Nokia Champions League title. Ganga's wife Nouralin who missed the 2009 campaign can be seen celebrating with the rest of the Trini supporters in the stands. According to Ganga: "It is great that my wife can join me because this tournament is as big as it gets. Hopefully she has brought along 'Lady Luck' and we can win the tournament."
Ganga, who recently finished his law degree is hoping to visit the courts after his cricketing days are over. "I have my degree after much sacrifice and now I have to sit at the bar and take things from there. Hopefully I will be wearing the black robes after my cricket has finished." T&T's Sport Ambassador says his wife is into fashion designing and he may have a part to play in that later one day.
The entire Ganga family is in India with Daren's parents Ramesh and Jenno also on board. Elder brother Sheldon who played Under-19 cricket for T&T is also in India. Sheldon thinks Sherwin can make a big difference to the team in India. "Sherwin I think is the most talented of the brothers and we saw what he can do in the opening game against Ruhunu. The boy can bat and added to this he has come along as a spinner, although I would like to see him tighten up a bit with his bowling."
