Dig­i­cel T&T Pro League club, St Ann's Rangers will face off against a Care­nage XI in the fea­ture match of a dou­ble-head­er to kick off the 2011 sea­son of The MAD Sports Pro­mo­tion-Care­nage Su­per Foot­ball League at Haig Street Recre­ation Ground, from 7 pm to­mor­row. Two hours ear­li­er, De­fence Force Mas­ters tack­les the Strike Squad in an­oth­er ex­hi­bi­tion clash at the same venue.

This year the league which is still in search of a spon­sor will com­prise ten-clubs in­clu­sive of de­fend­ing league cham­pi­on, Bombers, 2010 knock­out win­ner 13 Posse, Young Guns, Scor­pi­on, Mt Pleas­ant, Fam­i­ly Sto­ries, Beard Street, Pt Cumana, L'Anse Mi­tan and St James Unit­ed. The win­ner of the league will col­lect $10,000 sec­ond gets $3,000 and third $1,000, while the knock­out win­ner car­ries away $5,000.
