Curon Hack­ett banged in the lone goal as Black Rock FC edged 1976 Phoenix FC 1-0 to move off the foot of the 12-team To­ba­go Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Pre­mier Di­vi­sion stand­ings on Wednes­day. With the win, on­ly its sec­ond in nine match­es, Black Rock im­proved to nine points in eighth spot, one ahead of Phoenix while Geor­ga FC slipped to last, a fur­ther point be­hind.

De­fend­ing cham­pi­on, St Clair Coach­ing School leads with max­i­mum 30 points from ten match­es, five more than Sidey's FC which has played a match less while Tay­lor's Rentals Goal City is third with 16 points. In the First Di­vi­sion, David Gill got dou­ble for Carn­bee/Mt Pleas­ant in its 5-0 drub­bing of Ma­son Hall PYC.

Do­minique Roberts, Ke­nan Gra­ham and an own goal from Ma­son Hall ac­count­ed for the oth­ers as the Carn­bee/Mt Pleas­ant pushed its point tal­ly to 13 from sev­en match­es, six adrift of leader, Youth Stars Unit­ed. Sig­nal Hill joined Carn­bee/Mt Pleas­ant on 13 points af­ter Do­minique Sobers, Keshon Mar­celle, Oma­le Jack­son, Huey Khan and Car­lie George net­ted in a 5-0 win over Fed­er­al North­side while Calder Hall pipped Mo­ri­ah Youths 1-0 with Al­don Wheel­er on tar­get.
