Marvin Martin fired in the decisive item with four minutes left in the match as Carapichaima East Secondary slipped past Gasparillo 2-1 to stay on course to retain its Central Zone title. Denzil Gill had fired Caps' into a 25th minute at Guaracara Park, Pointe-a-Pierre which it held until Trifon Browne's 49th minute equaliser for Gasparillo. Carapichaima now has maximum 15 points, the same as Couva West Secondary which has played two more matches while Gasparillo is third with 12 points. Couva West stayed in the title hunt after whipping Waterloo 4-1 led by a double from Jaffet Williams his eight of the campaign while Presentation edged Tabaquite 1-0.
