Vessigny faces Roxborough today

Trinidad champions Vessigny Secondary will take on Tobago champions Roxborough Secondary in the  Coca-Cola Intercol girls National final today at the Dwight Yorke Stadium, Bacelot, Tobago from 3 pm. Vessigny, which finished second in the South Zone League competition is fresh off of the Trinidad final which it won on Sunday.

The southerners defeated North Zone champions St Francois Girls College on penalty kicks 4-3. The match ended 1-1 at full time, with goals from national Under-17 player Khadidra Debisette for Vessigny, and Asha Jones scoring for St Francois.

Roxborough won the Tobago Zone without losing a match. The team, however, lost out on the Big Five title losing to South Zone league champions Debe 3-0
