Three as­pir­ing crick­eters- Sai­ba Ba­toos­ing, Crys­tion Thur­ton and Emilio Gopaul were se­lect­ed to join the na­tion­al Un­der-13 team af­ter im­press­ing in the 12 week long 2011 Dig­i­cel Preysal Crick­et School, which end­ed on Sun­day.The trio will trav­el on a good­will tour of Bar­ba­dos from De­cem­ber 10 to 21, led by coach De­bideen Man­ick.Mean­while, Em­rith Reesal, Ryan Seep­er­sad, Emilio Gopaul, Am­ril Lall and Quin­dell Hors­ford were in­vit­ed to be­come mem­bers of the Preysal club for their ef­forts.Ad­dress­ing the grad­u­ates, Dig­i­cel Mar­ket­ing As­sis­tant- An­jaana Downes ex­pressed de­light in hav­ing the op­por­tu­ni­ty to learn and grow along with the par­tic­i­pants.

She wished the par­tic­i­pants the best in their fu­ture en­deav­ours. She spoke on be­half of Dig­i­cel say­ing that it is the telecom­mu­ni­ca­tion com­pa­ny's wish that they would all move for­ward and that in the fu­ture, some would be se­lect­ed for the West in­dies team.Ac­cord­ing to Downes, Dig­i­cel firm­ly be­lieves that this kind of ad­vance­ment is pos­si­ble for the par­tic­i­pants; as the Dig­i­cel Preysal Crick­et School has a long his­to­ry of pro­duc­ing skilled crick­eters who go on to rep­re­sent T&T at many lev­els.Play­ers were award­ed in the cat­e­gories of "Most Valu­able Play­er", "Best Bats­man", "Best Bowler", and Best Field­s­man" in three age cat­e­gories.
