Sand­hya Moll and her horse Ma­jes­tic 7 came out on top when the in the High League event when the T&T Eques­tri­an As­so­ci­a­tion held its fourth and fi­nal Su­per League show-jump­ing com­pe­ti­tion on De­cem­ber 4 to close-off the 2011 sea­son.With bril­liant sun­shine all day, Trinidad and To­ba­go's best rid­ers came out to bat­tle for the top po­si­tions in each of the three re­spec­tive leagues; Low (Ju­nior & Se­nior), Mid­dle and High.Sand­hya Moll, hav­ing per­formed ex­treme­ly well all year, en­tered the fi­nal day of the com­pe­ti­tion in the lead in the High league. Her main com­pe­ti­tion on the fi­nal day was sure to be Steven Degheldere on "A Great Team", but most un­for­tu­nate­ly his horse was lame and un­able to be rid­den.His ac­cu­mu­lat­ed score of 100 points gave him an over­all plac­ing of 3rd for the year's com­pe­ti­tion.Both Cam­mi­la Gar­cia and Melis­sa Shep­pard did not par­tic­i­pate in the fi­nal leg, but their com­bined scores of 200 points each, she them shared sec­ond place over­all for the year. Moll rid­ing her own "Ma­jes­tic 7" had on­ly to com­plete one round of com­pe­ti­tion that day, as there were no oth­er rid­ers able to com­pete in the High di­vi­sion and her ac­cu­mu­lat­ed score of 450 points, and her round with four faults and a time of 79.83 sec­onds gave her the Rid­er of the Year-High League ti­tle.

Mor­ri­son al­so opt­ed to ride "Hors Con­cours" in this High di­vi­sion, and record­ed a score of four faults, and 78.97 sec­onds.The Mid-League, as ex­pect­ed, was the most com­pet­i­tive, with the most num­ber of rid­ers on the fi­nal day, and al­so over­all for the year. Hav­ing com­plet­ed the three pre­vi­ous legs of the 2011 com­pe­ti­tion, Adelle Stollmey­er be­gan the day in the lead with 290 points, fol­lowed very close­ly by Char­lotte Mor­ri­son with 280 points. Mariel Lanser chased at their heels with 200 points, and re­al­ly it could be any­body's win, as dou­ble-points were award­ed on the fi­nal day of the Su­per League event. An­drew Halfhide per­formed ad­mirably on a bor­rowed res­cue horse "Geor­gio Ar­mani", with a to­tal of 12 jump­ing faults, and his score of 160 points gave him an over­all 5th plac­ing for the year's com­pe­ti­tion. Am­ber Thom­son did not ride on this fi­nal day, but her ac­cu­mu­lat­ed 190 points, placed her just ahead of Halfhide in 4th place over­all for the year. Lanser on her mare "Rhap­sody" and Stollmey­er on the thor­ough­bred and ex-rac­er "Ami­go Mio" both scored 4 faults, but it was their very close times that man­aged to sep­a­rate them. Stollmey­er's sec­ond round time of 57.57 just edged her in­to sec­ond place for the day ahead of Lanser's third place time of 58.63, and a to­tal score of 380 points. Al­though Stollmey­er start­ed the day in the lead, her per­for­mance was not enough to keep her in over­all first place for the year, and with a to­tal of 490 points she se­cured 2nd place over­all. Mor­ri­son on her hand­some grey "Al­fie Meh Boy" fought for the ti­tle of Rid­er of the Year –Mid­dle League, post­ing two beau­ti­ful clear rounds, with a time of 55.71 sec­onds and her over­all score of 500 just edged her in­to the prime po­si­tion.

For the Low League-Ju­nior class, Hadley Ra­hael went in­to the fi­nal event in the lead. Un­for­tu­nate­ly, she was un­able to ride as her horse "Zeus" was lame, but even with­out show­ing that day she emerged as Rid­er of the Year-Low League (Ju­nior) in her cat­e­go­ry with a to­tal of 220 points, as there were no oth­er rid­ers in her class com­pet­ing that day. Am­briel Weath­er­ly placed 2nd for the year in this cat­e­go­ry.In the Low League-Se­nior class, Sand­hya Moll would at­tempt her sec­ond league ti­tle for the year, and would con­tin­ue her win­ning streak. On the day there was just one oth­er com­peti­tor in this class, Melis­sa In­gle­field. Moll be­gan the com­pe­ti­tion al­ready in the lead; In­gle­field rode "No­bil LX" and over the two rounds of com­pe­ti­tion she achieved two beau­ti­ful clear rounds with no jump­ing or time faults on her chest­nut geld­ing, in a time of 58.98, giv­ing her 200 points for the day. Moll al­so showed her skill on her young mount "The Sul­tan", post­ing two clear rounds as well. She was able to just bet­ter In­gle­field, with a time of 57.17, and scor­ing an ad­di­tion­al 220 points for the day to give her first place and the Low League- Se­nior Ti­tle for 2011. The fi­nal stand­ings for the year in this class was Moll first with 430 points, In­gle­field sec­ond with 210 points, and An­drew Halfhide third with 120 points.A great way to end a great year of show-jump­ing in Trinidad and To­ba­go. The rid­ers all re­ceived their tro­phies and rib­bons from the judge of the day Al­ix Hob­day, and TTEA Man­age­ment Com­mit­tee Mem­bers, Patrice Stollmey­er and Sara Mc­Cart­ney. The prizes were spon­sored by Si­mone Agar and Stech­ers Ltd. The TTEA al­so host­ed their fun and ex­cit­ing fundrais­ing "Sad­dle Pad Po­lo" event that day to raise mon­ey for the TTSP­CA's Equine Res­cue Pro­gram.
