Man of the Series Kieron Pollard finished the Caribbean T20 with the highest average (153.00), the highest strike rate (218.57) and most sixes (16) while Windward Islands’ Johnson Charles made the most runs (207) and Jamaica’s Nkrumah Bonner scored 172 runs. Pollard came to the wicket at crucial points during the tournament and pulled his team out of trouble with some sensible hitting which saw T&T winning the title for the third time.
Jamaica’s Krismar Santokie took the most wickets (14) but it was Ravi Rampaul who was the most economical bowler, grabbing seven wickets at 14.42 runs per wicket. Batsmen were only able to score 4.23 runs per over from his bowling. Two other T&T bowlers finished second and third among the economical bowlers - Samuel Badree (7 wickets) went at 4.31 runs per over while Sunil Narine who also took seven wickets went at 4.36 per over. Dwayne Bravo, who was ‘Man of the match’ in the final for his batting, took the most wickets for T&T (10).
