Adam's Construction Ltd San Juan Jabloteh will look to become the fourth different leader of the Digicel T&T Pro League table in less than two weeks when its faces defending champion, Defence Force today.
The meeting between, Jabloteh, currently joint third on the eight-team table on 19 points with T&TEC, and Defence Force kicks off at 8 pm at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Malabar. Tonight's clash will also see two of the league's top three goalscorers in Richard "Shaka" Roy (Defence Force) and Willis Plaza (Jabloteh), with seven and six goals respectively going head-to-head for the first time this season.
The "Teteron Boys", who kicked off their campaign late due to the State of Emergency have made steady progress up the eight-team table and currently occupy fifth spot with 12 points, the same as DirecTV North East Stars, which has played three matches and will no doubt be brimming with confidence after a convincing 3-1 triumph over St Ann's Rangers at the same venue on Tuesday led by a Roy hat-trick. Jabloteh, meanwhile, coming off a battling 1-1 draw with second placed Neal & Massy Caledonia AIA (20 points) has also made steady stride under first year coach, former national goalkeeper Earl "Spiderman" Carter and a win today will see it go past W Connection (21 points) and into top spot. Two hours earlier, Stars will also be out to put some breathing space between itself and Rangers when both teams face off.
