Adam's Con­struc­tion Ltd San Juan Jabloteh will look to be­come the fourth dif­fer­ent leader of the Dig­i­cel T&T Pro League ta­ble in less than two weeks when its faces de­fend­ing cham­pi­on, De­fence Force to­day.

The meet­ing be­tween, Jabloteh, cur­rent­ly joint third on the eight-team ta­ble on 19 points with T&TEC, and De­fence Force kicks off at 8 pm at the Lar­ry Gomes Sta­di­um, Mal­abar. Tonight's clash will al­so see two of the league's top three goalscor­ers in Richard "Sha­ka" Roy (De­fence Force) and Willis Plaza (Jabloteh), with sev­en and six goals re­spec­tive­ly go­ing head-to-head for the first time this sea­son.

The "Teteron Boys", who kicked off their cam­paign late due to the State of Emer­gency have made steady progress up the eight-team ta­ble and cur­rent­ly oc­cu­py fifth spot with 12 points, the same as Di­recTV North East Stars, which has played three match­es and will no doubt be brim­ming with con­fi­dence af­ter a con­vinc­ing 3-1 tri­umph over St Ann's Rangers at the same venue on Tues­day led by a Roy hat-trick. Jabloteh, mean­while, com­ing off a bat­tling 1-1 draw with sec­ond placed Neal & Massy Cale­do­nia AIA (20 points) has al­so made steady stride un­der first year coach, for­mer na­tion­al goal­keep­er Earl "Spi­der­man" Carter and a win to­day will see it go past W Con­nec­tion (21 points) and in­to top spot. Two hours ear­li­er, Stars will al­so be out to put some breath­ing space be­tween it­self and Rangers when both teams face off.
