TSTT completed its fifth straight win on Thursday evening in the Courts All Sectors Netball League, to remain the only unbeaten team in the Alternative Division. This was at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena in Tacarigua. The five-goal (35-30) victory was over the University of T&T (UTT), giving the schoolgirls their first loss of the season. Shooting for the winning team were Janelle Wilson and Cherise Carmichael, who each scored 12 goals from 21 and 22 attempts, respectively and Sophia Harper. She netted 11 off 21. Sharon Phillip topscored for UTT with 14 from 23.
TSTT will play its final round one match on Monday against T&T Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI), which defaulted on its match against the University of Southern Caribbean (USC) in the second match that was carded on Thursday. Action continues today from 2 pm in the top level divisions. In the Premiership category, UTT with top shooter Samantha Wallace on board will look to keep a clean sheet when it faces rival Police in the final encounter on the night from 5.45 pm. Wallace has the main shooter for UTT's success and it will rely to her to remain consistent. Fire will today, seek to bounce back from its 37-33 loss to the police officers last weekend, when it plays Bermudez from 4.30 pm.
