Valtrin Football Club went within two points of Santa Rosa in second position, with one match-day remaining in the Emerald Apartments and Plaza Eastern Football Association (EFA) Premier Division, following a vital 1-0 win over Joe Public, on Thursday. Keston Henry scored the only goal of the encounter just before the hour-mark, keeping Valtrin in contention for the title, while giving his team all to play for in the final round of matches which kicks off today. Valtrin will be faced in a title decider against FC Santa Rosa at home at the NUGFW, Valsayn from 5pm, with Santa Rosa requiring a solitary point to seal top spot, and a place in the Champions of Champions competition which kicks off in March. Valtrin, meanwhile, will need all three points to leapfrog Santa Rosa to go top.
