CAVE HILL— Combined Campuses & Colleges, chasing 287 for victory, reached 22 without loss at the tea break against Trinidad & Tobago on the third day of their day/night, first round match in the Regional 4-Day tournament on Sunday at the Three Ws Oval. CCC were undermined by the spin bowling of recent IPL recruit Sunil Narine who celebrated his signing with 5-22 (2-22).

CCC threatened briefly in a third wicket partnership of 32 between Yannick Ottley (32) and Kyle Corbin (25) but once they were separated, they lost their last eight wickets for 51 runs. In their second turn at the crease T&T were indebted to skipper Denesh Ramdin 40 and Narine 34 as they reached 168, leaving the students with over a day to get 287 runs for victory. At lunch time last night in the day/night fixture, the students were 22-0.
