Lalonde Gor­don re­mains T&T's high­est rat­ed ath­lete on the lat­est up­date of the 2012 In­ter­na­tion­al As­so­ci­a­tion of Ath­let­ic Fed­er­a­tion (IAAF) In­door Rank­ings. Gor­don is at No 2 in the men's 200m fol­low­ing his 20.58 per­son­al best clock­ing in win­ning the event at the Ter­ri­er Clas­sic in Boston, USA on Jan­u­ary 28. The 23-year-old quar­ter­mil­er is sixth on the 400m stand­ing on the Feb­ru­ary 5 up­date of the list. On the pre­vi­ous stand­ings on Jan­u­ary 24, Gor­don held the num­ber-one spot in the 400m rank­ing fol­low­ing his 46.43 run in strik­ing gold at the New Bal­ance Games in New York, USA on Jan­u­ary 22. Jar­rin Solomon is one place be­hind at sev­enth af­ter he raced to the New Mex­i­co Col­le­giate two lap ti­tle. Solomon clocked 46.55 to take the crown for the sec­ond straight year. 2009 Berlin World Cham­pi­onships 400m bronze medal­list, Ren­ny Quow, is at 12th. He clocked 46.70 in fin­ish­ing third at the New Bal­ance Grand Prix on Sat­ur­day.

Reign­ing dou­ble NCAA out­door medal­list, An­nie Alexan­der, is the high­est ranked lo­cal woman, po­si­tioned at 16th in the women's shot put stand­ing with a per­son­al best of 17.70m set­ting in tak­ing the Auburn In­vite ti­tle. The Ten­nesse stu­dent dropped four places. Kai Selvon fell five places to 17th in the women's in­door 200m list­ing with her 23.66 clock­ing in rac­ing to gold at the Auburn In­vi­ta­tion­al. Selvon is al­so at 26th (was at 11th in last up­date) in the 60m sprint with her 7.30 tim­ing in fin­ish­ing fourth at Auburn In­vite. In Se­moy Hack­ett is at 57th with 7.38 sec­onds. Marc Burns is at num­ber 22 in the men's 60 dash with af­ter he ran 6.64 in tak­ing fifth spot at the Auburn In­vi­ta­tion­al on Jan­u­ary 21. The 2000/2002 World Ju­nior medal­list was at eighth in pre­vi­ous up­date.
