TSTT celebrated two victories on Monday night in both the Alternative and Retro Divisions in the Courts All Sectors Netball League. The matches were played at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sports Arena in Tacarigua. In the feature match of the evening, guided by a not-too-impressive 29 goals from 62 attempts from goal-attack Sherise Carmichael, TSTT defeated the T&T Hospitality and Tourism Institute (TTHTI), 57-5. Her goal-shooter Sophia Harper and Leslie Ann Halls, who replaced her later as the shooter, each netted 14 from 22 and 26 tries, respectively. TSTT led from the initial pass and never looked back, leading 12-2 in the first quarter, 25-2 at the halfway mark and 44-5 in third. Goal-shooter Lenesha Headley scored all of TTHTI's goals, five off 13, as their miserable season continues, remaining winless from its six matches. Earlier, Debra Alie helped her team get by Les Enfants, 28-20 in the Retro Division. She connected the bulk of TSTT's goals, hitting 27 off 36 as TSTT held the advantage throughout as in the other match, 6-3, 11-8 and 19-16, before completing the eight-goal victory.
