All eyes will be on the feature match of Round Three Match Day One, when the top two teams in the Digicel TT Pro League, Caledonia AIA and W Connection battle in the second match of a double header the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva from 8 pm. The opening match of the double-header will see mid-table teams T&TEC and defending champions Defence Force square off from 6 pm. Caledonia are off a famous 1-0 win over T&TEC on Tuesday, which gave the team a berth into the CFU Club Championship. The Morvant/ Laventille team will be further poised for victory, after taking the first leg encounter 2-1 in a come-back victory over the Stuart Charles coached W Connection team back in December. Devorn Jorsling scored in that encounter, as well as in his last match, the only goal in the 1-0 win over T&TEC. Midfielder Ataulla Guerra who also scored in the win back in December, will be missing for the team for the match, due to an accumulation of bookings. Connection, which also qualified for the CFU Club Championship, will have to shake off Tuesday’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of last place Police, in order to restrict Caledonia from extending the gap at the top of the standings. Another double header will kick off tomorrow with St Ann’s Rangers versus Police in the opening match at the Larry Gomes Stadium, Arima, from 6 pm. In the second match, third place San Juan Jabloteh will meet sixth place North East Stars from 8 pm.
