Tauren George was a triple winner at the fourth meet of the NAAA Development Series on February 11. The Point Fortin New Jets youth sped to gold in the boys under-17 400m (52.01), 110m hurdles (15.22) and 400m hurdles (1:06:52) events. George's triumphs come after his double win at the third Development meet one week earlier at the same venue where he prevailed in the 400m (53.43) and 400m hurdles (1:09:41). Ayanna Glasgow registered her third straight double win when she took the girls under-17 high jump (1.55) and long jump (4.88). The Toco TAFAC athlete added these victories after previously taking the 100m hurdles and high jump victories at the second meet at the Larry Gomes Stadium on January 28. The 2011 Carifta representative was also doubly successful at the third meet on February 4 taking the high jump and triple jump (10.35). Toco TAFAC club-mate, Portious Warren, also recorded her second double win copping the discus (30.76) and javelin (29.80) in the same age group. One week ago Warren prevailed in the shot (11.60) and javelin (24.61). Other Toco TAFAC double gold winners include: Kafil Edwards (boys under-17 long jump-5.62/triple jump-11.12) and Donicia Antoine (women's open 1500-5:10:00/3000-12:27:07). Fortin New Jets): boys U-20 High jump-1.80/Triple Jump-14.39 and Kesean Phillips (UWI): men's-Shot put-13.93/Discus-36.80.
