Caraps Youth League semis kick off tomorrow

All five divisions will be in action tomorrow, when the 12th Carapichaima Youth Super League football competition resumes with the semifinal round of matches. The featured match-up will see the “Little Cannons” of 1st FC Santa Rosa clash with Crown Trace FC in the Under-16 division, at Edinburgh 500 Ground, from 4.15 pm. Santa Rosa advanced to the last four, with a comfortable 2-0 win over Moruga FC at Waterloo Recreation Ground, last Saturday, with Trey Hanley and Deyshawn Edwards both on target with wonderfully worked goals. Meanwhile, Crown Trace advanced with a 4-0 thrashing of Club Sando. Attacker David Maloney took the spotlight, scoring all four goals.
 
The winner will face either Marabella FCC or Clint Marcelle FA, subsequent to the result of a pending protest issued by Crown Trace. The two teams will also be in action from 4.15 pm at Carapichaima. The two finalists will then meet at a venue to be determined, next Saturday, with the prize giving ceremony to follow. The Under-8, Under-10 and Under-12 divisions, will begin with the semifinal matches, followed by the finals and the prize giving ceremony, in Waterloo, tomorrow
