Former T&T and West Indies leg-spinner Rajindra Dhanraj was in great form taking Victoria to victory over Progressive, as round three matches in the Colfire South Championship cricket series was played. Dhanraj snared 5/22 to bowl out Progressive for 132. Also among the wickets for Victoria was Marcelle Jones with 4/33. Jones then turned batsman and scored an unbeaten 114 to take his team to 301/7 declared. Dhanraj was then up to his old tricks again taking 4/28 in the second innings to hustle out Progressive for 91 to give his team full points. A total of five centuries were scored over the weekend. Those raising their bat at the coveted landmark were Clarke Rochard's Sri Lankan import Ishan Mutaliph 115, Diamond United's Ricardo Jadoonath 132, Victoria's Marcelle Jones 114 not out and the Yorkshire pair of Chidnand Shivwram 113 not out and Christian Dean 121 not out.
Shivwram and Dean put on record unbeaten 210 sixth wicket partnership that took their team to an innings victory over St Mary's Superstars at Cunjal in Barrackpore. Batting first St Mary's made 139 with Shivwram taking 6/44 and Nazim Ali 3/31. Yorkshire then lost five quick wickets in reply, before the pair of Shivwram and Dean came together to take them to 365/5 declared. Batting a second time St Mary's folded for 141 with Isaac Nicholas getting 58. Ashmeed Mohammed grabbed 5/66 and Nazim Ali 2/40, to ensure the win.
