Clarke out front at Sagicor Golf

Defending champion Tracey Clarke ended in the lead in the Ladies’ Division on the opening day of the Sagicor St Andrew’s Invitational Golf Tournament in Moka yesterday. She shot a one under pay 71 – the lowest score of the day. 10 strokes behind her in this division is Ysabelle Lawrence with an 81. In the Super Seniors First Flight, Arjoon Samlal remained the strongest contender with a score of 73. He was followed by Tyrone Leong with 75. In the Super Seniors Second Flight Selwyn Hakim leads with 84. In the Seniors Division Douglas Ammon claimed a score of 76 ahead of Michael Commissiong and Carlos Beckles. In the First flight Dinesh Jackree and Angard Sonnylal leads with a score of 75.
T&T’s Juniors did not disappoint with Sachin Kumar and Wan Ju Lee each having scores of 76. A closely contested tournament is on for today as Brian Lara, Deryck Gonsalves and Clint Alfred also ended with scores of 76.
