Signal Alert to take feature

The Glenn Mendez trained colt, Signal Alert should return to winner’s row at the first time of asking in the Arima Race Club (ARC) 2012 season. Signal Alert which finished third in last year’s Steward’s Cup, should have too much toe for his five rivals in the feature for Three-Year-Olds and Over horses rated 90, over 1,100 metres at Santa Rosa Park, today. Signal Alert should make his belated seasonal debut a winning one. The horse is saddled with top-weight of 56.5 but Ricky Jadoo will show his class. The David Ojar trained, Skyline Pigeon is expected to make a race of it with his penny – stamp of 48.0 kilos. He will be partnered by champion jockey Brian Boodramsing. Another, which will run a big race is stablemate, Just Call Me Roger which will now race with 48.0 kilos. In the penultimate event on the day’s card, Ignition Coil from the John O’Brien stable should enhance his reputation, with another easy success. The speedy Smart American should follow him home.
