National 200m champion Rondell Sorillo was second in his first 200 metres race for the year, at the Meeting Region in Bai-Mahault, Guadeloupe on Tuesday.
Sorillo clocked 20.40 seconds. He was beaten by double Olympic finalist Churandy Martina of the Netherlands (20.40). Canada's Jared Connaughton was third (20.60).
Melissa De Leon was third in the women's 800m race in 2:05.18 behind Cuba's Mary Almansa Rose (2:03.18) and Andres Ferris of Panama (2:03.71).
Olympic champion Lashawn Merritt of the USA won the men's 400m in a world leading time of 44.73 while another Olympic gold medallist Dayron Robles of Cuban also clocked a world leading in the men's 110m hurdles, winning in 13.19 seconds.
