After a two week break, action will resume in the Oasis Youth Pro League, with a host of exciting matches, as Round Two Match Day Three runs off from 10 am, this morning. In the match of the round, W Connection will be looking to regain momentum when it takes on North East Stars at the Larry Gomes Stadium Arima.
Connection, which sits second in the Under-14 division by three points behind Jabloteh, already defeated Stars 3–1 in the Under-14 match earlier this season, before snubbing the same team 2–0 and 3–0 in the Under-16 and Under-18 divisions, respectively. North East Stars, sitting dead last, needs a win to go level on points with seventh placed Defence Force, granted the latter team loses to T&TEC, which has already happened this season (2–1).
North East Stars, however, have been much more impressive in the Under-18 division, and sits in third position, seven points behind runaway leaders W Connection. Police FC, a team which has been inconsistent all season, will take on St Ann's Rangers, at St Joseph Convent Ground, St Clair.
Rangers have had the better of the exchanges the last time the two sides met, whipping Police 4–1 and 6–0 in the Under-14 and Under-16 divisions, before settling for a 2–2 draw in the Under-18 division. Caledonia AIA will host San Juan Jabloteh in the other match, at Real Spring Recreation Ground, Valsayn.
Jabloteh won all of its matches against Caledonia in the last meeting (4–0, 5–0 and 1–0), and sits top of the Under-14 and Under-16 division, but last in the Under-18 division.
