Glam­or­gan men and Tech­nocrats women will both de­fend their ti­tles when the third an­nu­al Mark Daly In­vi­ta­tion­al Vol­ley­ball Tour­na­ment serves off to­mor­row un­til Sun­day at the Jean Pierre Com­plex, Mu­cu­rapo. Daly a for­mer na­tion­al men's vol­ley­ball team cap­tain and Tech­nocrats play­ers died in a ve­hic­u­lar ac­ci­dent on No­vem­ber 19, 2009 and since then the club has paid trib­ute to him by host­ing the memo­r­i­al tour­na­ment.

In the men's com­pe­ti­tion, Glam­or­gan which won the re­cent­ly con­test­ed Caribbean In­vi­ta­tion­al Vol­ley­ball League at the same venue will do bat­tle with beat­en fi­nal­ists, Tech­nocrats which will en­ter two teams, as well as Zenith, South East Port-of-Sain, South­ern Unit­ed, De­fence Force, To­co Youth Vol­ley­ball Acad­e­my and Bar­ba­di­an club, Dea­cons, the first for­eign club to en­ter. In the women's tour­na­ment, Tech­nocrats will put its ti­tle on the line against last year's run­ner-up and reign­ing na­tion­al and Caribbean Vol­ley­ball League cham­pi­ons, Uni­ver­si­ty of T&T, South East Port-of-Spain, South­ern Unit­ed and De­fence Force.

Both men and women teams are ex­pect­ed to fea­ture re­gion­al play­ers from Ja­maica and Bar­ba­dos.

To­mor­row, match­es will serve off from 4 pm with the open­ing cer­e­mo­ny at 6 pm while on Sat­ur­day and Sun­day match­es will take place from 9 am to 10 pm.
