Pe­nal Rock Road and pro­mot­ed T&TEC won for the sec­ond time in as many match­es when the South­ern Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Petrotrin Su­per League con­tin­ued on Sat­ur­day. Rock Road, 2-1 win­ners over Brick Field Fal­cons in round one trounced PAL Unit­ed 3-0 led by a dou­ble from Kur­lon Gomez and the oth­er by Ty­lon Far­rell for max­i­mum six points while Lester Ed­wards (two) and Akeem Red­head net­ted for T&TEC in a 3-1 whip­ping of Fal­cons.

In the oth­er match­es, OJ Sol­da­do All Stars re­bound­ed from its open­ing day loss to edge past Di­a­mond Unit­ed 2-1, Big Dreams al­so got its first win, 1-0 over Pe­nal All Stars, and PFC and Petrotrin Pa­lo Seco dropped their first points in a 1-1 draw. Af­ter two rounds, Rock Road and T&TEC lead with six points each fol­lowed by Petrotrin Pa­lo Seco and PFC with four apiece while Mara­bel­la Fam­i­ly Cir­cle, Sal­da­do and Big Dreams have three each.

In the Roy Ja­groops­ingh Sec­ond Di­vi­sion, San Fer­nan­do Gi­ants eked out a 1-0 win over Los Iros, and Gas­par­il­lo de­feat­ed Cedal Hill Unit­ed, 2-1 to join Cen­tre for Ex­cel­lence and KNT's Cos­mos on three points each. How­ev­er, Cen­tre for Ex­cel­lence and Cos­mos have a match in hand.
