Michael Hospedales hit the back of the net on three occasions as Malabar FC hammered WASA FC 9-2 last weekend to move three points clear at the top of the Premiership Division of the Eastern Football Association (EFA). Hospedales netted in the seventh, 29th and 74th minutes as Malabar held a 6-1 advantage at the end of the first half. Dinelle Lopez had a brace in the 40th and 83rd in the goal-spree.
Valtrin United missed out on an opportunity to share the top flight position as they were edged 3-2 by LA Horquetta SA. It was Valtrin’s first setback of the campaign, after four outings. In the First Division, T&T Prisons maintained their three-point spread ahead of the pack in the lower division with a commanding 4-0 win over Crowne United. The winners got double strikes from Andre Mohammed (11th and 73rd) and Marlon Lawrence (28th & 66th)
