Samaroo in charge for Jubilee series

National women’s team player Amanda Samaroo will lead the 19 and under team in the T&T Women’s Cricket Association’s (TTWCA) Jubilee 19 and Under Invitational Tournament which bowls off tomorrow and runs until Sunday. Samaroo of Phoenix Club will be assisted by Hibiscus Ladies’ Teneisha Cudjoe. The competition gets going tomorrow at two venues simultaneously, at the National Cricket Centre in Balmain, Couva and at Caldrac in California. The event will include two teams from T&T, the national 19 and under unit and a Board XI. The other teams competing are the ICC Americas, St Lucia and St Vincent. Teams are expected to arrive today. The previously published fixtures have been revised to facilitate St Vincent which is facing some difficulties with their airline reservations.
