The Ten­nis As­so­ci­a­tion of T&T will be con­duct­ing a US Col­lege Ten­nis Aware­ness Ses­sion to­day at 2.30 pm, at the LOC Room Hasley Craw­ford Sta­di­um. This ses­sion is de­signed to pro­vide those play­ers who as­pire to play ten­nis at the US Col­lege lev­el, with the rel­e­vant in­for­ma­tion on US Col­leges and the re­cruit­ment process. US col­lege ten­nis has the po­ten­tial to pro­vide play­ers with the lev­el of com­pe­ti­tion need­ed take their game to high­er lev­els and has been proven to be a good step­ping stone for those play­ers who choose to join the pro­fes­sion­al tour af­ter grad­u­a­tion.

Some of our top play­ers who are cur­rent­ly play­ing col­lege ten­nis in­clude:Carlista Mo­hammed, Trevine Sel­l­i­er and Liam Gomez. This ses­sion will be fa­cil­i­tat­ed by for­mer Col­lege Play­ers Ryan Ross Tuskegee Uni­ver­si­ty, Jer­mille Danclar Delaware State Uni­ver­si­ty. The ses­sion is de­signed to be in­ter­ac­tive so that play­ers and par­ents can feel free to ask ques­tions and seek clar­i­fi­ca­tion on col­lege re­cruit­ment con­cerns. The tar­get­ed groups are play­ers who have com­plet­ed fifth or sixth form last year, play­ers com­plet­ing fifth or sixth form this year, play­ers who are cur­rent­ly in fourth or low­er sixth form and par­ents of the above play­ers.
