Surprise package of the 2012/2013 blink/bmobile National Super League season, Westside Superstarz will be seeking to keep pace at the top of the standings when they travel to St Joseph to take on third place WASA FC, from 4 pm today. The match will kick off simultaneously with five other fixtures in an exciting day of action from Match Day Nine. Westside leads the 12 team standings on 19 points from eight matches, two greater than reigning treble winners bmobile Joe Public, which recently suffered two draws to bottom of the table clubs. Westside, however, is on exceptional form, having only drawn one match for the season, and losing one match, which was on the opening day of action to Joe Public, before improving tremendously. The club is off a narrow 2-1 win over Defence Force, with Troy Thompson scoring a double, and his third goal in two matches. WASA, meanwhile, has held its own with a comfortable third place position on 16 points, four greater than its nearest challenger, Eagles United. In WASA's most recent match, the "Waterboys" defeated Club Sando 1-0 at home, through a lone effort from Michael-Lee Celestine, one of the club's more reliable players. In another appealing match, bmobile Joe Public will travel to the Plymouth Recreation Ground, Tobago, to take on Stokely Vale, which has been inconsistent thus far this season. Tobago will host another match as 1976 FC Phoenix plays host to FC Santa Rosa at Canaan, Bon Accord.
