Water polo juniors off to Canada

A 13-member T&T 19 and Under men’s water polo team left on Tuesday for  Montreal, Canada, to compete at the 17th Pan American Juniors Championships from Saturday to August 18. They will compete against the best countries in the  Western Hemisphere in a bid to repeat what the 17 and Under boys achieved  last year when they qualified for the World  Junior Championships which takes place in Perth, Australia, in December. In addition to T&T and host Canada, the other countries involved are champions Brazil, USA, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru and Puerto Rico.  

 
T&T Team: Andrew Too-A-Foo, Christian Chee Foon, Shaquille Mitchell, Daniel Tardieu, Daniel Alvarez, Kieron Emmanuel, Russell Ferreira, Jonathan Gillette, Andrew  Clarke, Adrian Hinds, Marc Stauble, Ryan West, Justin Bodden; 
Technical staff: Adam Foley (coach/technical director), Alan Too-A-Foo (coach), Peter Gillette (manager).
