Water polo juniors off to Canada
A 13-member T&T 19 and Under men’s water polo team left on Tuesday for Montreal, Canada, to compete at the 17th Pan American Juniors Championships from Saturday to August 18. They will compete against the best countries in the Western Hemisphere in a bid to repeat what the 17 and Under boys achieved last year when they qualified for the World Junior Championships which takes place in Perth, Australia, in December. In addition to T&T and host Canada, the other countries involved are champions Brazil, USA, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Peru and Puerto Rico.
