Ten horses have taken entry for Saturday's feature event, the Adoring Groom Horse of the Year 1996 Stakes, over 1,750 metres on the main track at Santa Rosa Park. This is the feature event on Jetsam Awards day which was cancelled last week due to bad weather. Ten events, all named after Jetsam Award – Horse of the Year winners, will be contested. One hundred and nine horses have been entered with a post time of noon. The Jetsam Awards prize distribution will take place in three parts after races 3, 5 and 7.
