The top seeds all safe­ly ad­vanced to the sin­gles and dou­bles fi­nals at the end of ac­tion on the penul­ti­mate day of ac­tion at the 13 and un­der Caribbean De­vel­op­ment Ten­nis Cham­pi­onships at the Shaw Park Courts on Thurs­day. In the Girls Sin­gles semi­fi­nals, num­ber-one-ranked An­jali Ramhit (Suri­name) dis­missed Jaimie Lewis (Bar­ba­dos) 6-0, 6-2 and will face an­oth­er Bar­ba­di­an, the num­ber two seed Ilana Black­wood in the fi­nals which was set for yes­ter­day. Black­wood got by Ramhit's com­pa­tri­ot Anouk Ma-Ajong 6-4, 6-2. The Girls Dou­bles fi­nal will al­so be an­oth­er Suri­name/Bar­ba­dos clash as the num­ber one pair of Ramhit and Ma-Ajong will face their num­ber two coun­ter­part Black­wood and Lewis.

In the semi­fi­nals, the Suri­namese beat Cavia Bel­fon (Grena­da) and Meg­gan William (St Lu­cia) 6-1, 6-2 while the Ba­jans de­feat­ed Afruica Gen­tle (Guyana) and Eve­lyn Kel­ly (Aru­ba) 6-3, 6-4. In boys sin­gles semi­fi­nals, top-ranked Aruban Patrick Sydow blew by fourth seed Jean Phillipe Mur­ray (St Lu­cia) 6-3, 6-1 and sec­ond seed Uk­pi­oron­fo Oron­fo Iko­lo (Grena­da) got the bet­ter of lo­cal play­er, the third seed Joshua Arnold 6-2, 6-2. In the dou­bles semis, the top seeds Grena­di­ans Iko­lo and Mick­el Alexan­der were oust­ed by Sydow and his Aruban team mate Kevin Yarza­garay 6-1, 6-4. Third seed St Lu­cian pair of Adriel Bous­quet and Jean Phillipe Mur­ray de­feat­ed the lo­cal duo of Joshua Arnold and Kobe James 6-3, 6-3 and will face the Arubans for the ti­tles.
