Ver­non Wil­son net­ted a dou­ble as Bethel Unit­ed edge Youth Stars Unit­ed 2-1 at Good­wood Ground to re­main top of the To­ba­go Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion Pre­mier Di­vi­sion on Sun­day. With the win, Bethel pushed its tal­ly to 20 points from nine match­es, one more than Rox­bor­ough Lak­ers which has a match in hand while Youth Stars, which got its goal through Uri­ah Palmer stayed sec­ond from bot­tom with five points, the same as Sidey's FC, and one ahead of strug­gling de­fend­ing cham­pi­on, St Clair Coach­ing School. It was the sec­ond loss in three days for St Clair, and sev­enth of the sea­son af­ter it was blanked 4-0 by 1976 Phoenix at Ply­mouth Recre­ation Ground on Fri­day night. Cur­tis Joseph and Do­minique Roberts scored two goals each in the win for Phoenix, sixth on the 12-team ta­ble with 11 points.

Al­so on Sun­day at Good­wood, Ac­k­eel Ster­ling got two and Kwasi Beck­les, one, for Lak­ers in a 3-1 whip­ping of Goal City. Kamion George was on tar­get for Goal City. And in the oth­er Pre­mier Di­vi­sion en­counter, Shey Jer­ry and Juel Jack fired in a goal apiece for Geor­gia FC to slip past Ma­son Hall USSS and moved to 14 points in fourth spot, two be­hind its op­po­nent. In the oth­er Pre­mier Di­vi­sion match on Fri­day, Akeilon Mur­phy and Cur­tis Job scored for Stoke­ly Vale to can­cel out Sidey's FC Glen­roy Fred­er­ick strike and im­prove to 14 points, lev­el with Geor­gia. To­mor­row, dou­ble-head­ers are card­ed for both Good­wood and Canaan Ground, Bon Ac­cord from 5pm. At Good­wood, Sidey's faces George fol­lowed by Lak­ers against Bethel in a top-of-the-ta­ble clash while at Bon Ac­cord, St Clair and Lam­beau lock horns from 5 pm, and two hours lat­er, Phoenix plays Youth Stars.
