El Dorado Youth Organisation scored a 2-0 win over Frontline Empire in Group Two of the Eddie Hart Football League on Thursday, while five-time champion Parliament FC and Trincity Nationals played to a dull goalless draw in Group One on Friday night at the Eddie Hart Savannah in Tacarigua. Clevon Mc Fee and Jevon Morris netted the items for El Dorado who were coming off a large 8-0 defeat to First Engineer Battalion. This was Frontline Empire’s second setback from three outings on this campaign, thus far. The draw on Friday for Trincity Nationals was its second-in-a-row after starting with two victories, while it was Parliament’s first affair of the season. On Wednesday, Macoya FC eked out an impressive 2-1 win over Small Stars with goals coming off the boots of talented Tahir Liverpool and Rondell Samuel. Che Lewis replied for Small Stars in the group one contest. In other results, defending champion MAASH International started its title defence with a comfortable 3-0 success over Sparta FC in a match-up from Group One in the second match of a double-header on Monday. In the first match, Valtrin United won the battle of the former champions when they scored a solid 3-1 triumph over Santos FC.
