De­an­dra Dot­tin scored 74 to guide favourites Com­bine Force to a con­vinc­ing 72-run tri­umph over Play­ers, in the Nor­man's Women's Wind­ball Crick­et League at the Tacarigua Com­mu­ni­ty Cen­tre, last week­end.

Hard-hit­ting Dot­tin struck nine six­es and a four as Com­bine Force made 107 for two in ten overs, be­fore re­strict­ing Play­ers to 35 for eight.

Shane De Sil­va was the best bowler for Com­bine Force, tak­ing two for eight. Sta­cy Ann King (35) was al­so in good form for Tamana Unit­ed, which de­feat­ed Crick­et Lovers by 23 runs.

King then com­bined with Yvette Samuel and Sta­cy Bo­lah to dis­missed Crick­et Lovers for 42, go­ing at 65 for eight. All three play­ers took two wick­ets apiece. Desert Unit­ed were al­so in win­ner's row on Sun­day af­ter they eked out a two-run vic­to­ry over Talk Nah.

Scores in the game were Desert Unit­ed 42 all out and Talk Nah 38 for sev­en.

In the men's cat­e­go­ry, Dark Horse reg­is­tered a sur­prise five–run suc­cess over 90.5 FM Bam­boo All Stars on Sun­day.

Bat­ting first, Dark Horse made a mod­est 58 for sev­en from 12 overs, which in the end proved to be too much for Bam­boo All Stars, which could on­ly muster 53 for sev­en in its chase.
