Aniel Douglas scored the lone goal as Enterprise Youths FC edged Las Lomas United 1-0 to stay top of the CRILLE-sponsored Central Football Association Premier Division at Hugo Francis Recreation Ground, Woodford Lodge, Chaguanas, on Thursday night.
Douglas got his goal in the 63rd minute for Enterprise which held on for the valuable three points to improve to 34 from 17 matches, three ahead of Edinburgh 500 which trounced Cap Off Youths 3-0 with goals from Andre Mayers, Stephen Julien and Amelias James at Edinburgh.
Leeds United also kept in the hunt for the coveted title with a hard fought 2-1 win over St Mary's in the second match at Woodford with Lyndon Luke and Juan Ribeiro scoring in the 52nd and 60th minute respectively. Steve Wilson converted an 81st minute penalty for St Mary's, but that was as close as it came.
