Joseph’s hat-trick leads Civic Centre mauling of PAL

Discarded national forward Marcus Joseph fired in a hat-trick to lead Pt Fortin Civic Centre to an 8-0 mauling of PAL United in a re-scheduled Southern Football Association Petrotrin Super League Premier Division at Mahaica Oval, Pt Fortin, on Thursday. 
 
Matthew Bartholomew, another former national player added a double while Dwight Cave, Nicklan Turton and Andre Alexis added the others to push its points tally to 41 from 15 matches, eight clear of T&TEC as it closes on on the league crown. 
 
Meanwhile, T&TEC, University of T&T and Petrotrin Palo Seco all secured handsome first-leg wins in their League round-of-16 matches while Union United edged San Fernando Giants 2-1.
