Dex­ter Ma­hase lived up to his top rank­ing when he suc­cess­ful­ly re­tained the Prom­e­nade Ten­nis Club's Men's A Di­vi­sion ti­tle with a straight-set spank­ing of his fa­ther Har­ry on Sun­day.

In a re­peat of last year's fi­nal, the younger Ma­hase came away with an easy 6-2, 6-1 vic­to­ry.

How­ev­er, the vet­er­an Ma­hase (Har­ry) had much bet­ter for­tune in the Men's A dou­bles de­cider af­ter he part­nered with Dave Ram­lo­gan to beat Ce­leste La Croix and Raval De­onar­ine, 6-4, 6-3

In the Men's B fi­nal, top-seed­ed Ste­fan Cor­bie over­came third-seed­ed Josh Sinanan 4-1, 4-1 while in the match of the day, the broth­er and sis­ter duo of sec­ond-seed­ed Roy and Michelle Chen up­staged de­fend­ing cham­pi­on, hus­band and wife pair, Ramesh and Rad­i­ca Ramd­han, 4-1, 5-3 in the mixed dou­bles fi­nal.
