T&T cricketers will step up their preparation for the upcoming Caribbean T20 Championships which gets underway on January 6 in T&T with two practice matches this weekend.
The matches are scheduled for today and tomorrow at the Queen's Park Oval in Port-of-Spain from 8 pm to 11 pm.
It is being billed as a classic North versus South clash with West Indies all-rounder Dwayne Bravo captaining North and national captain Denesh Ramdin at the helm of the South squad.
T&T are the defending Caribbean T20 champions and will be featuring in the opening match of the 2013 competition against Jamaica in a rematch of the 2012 championship final which they won to qualify for the Champions League T20 in South Africa.
Admission to the matches are free.
