T&T crick­eters will step up their prepa­ra­tion for the up­com­ing Caribbean T20 Cham­pi­onships which gets un­der­way on Jan­u­ary 6 in T&T with two prac­tice match­es this week­end.

The match­es are sched­uled for to­day and to­mor­row at the Queen's Park Oval in Port-of-Spain from 8 pm to 11 pm.

It is be­ing billed as a clas­sic North ver­sus South clash with West In­dies all-rounder Dwayne Bra­vo cap­tain­ing North and na­tion­al cap­tain De­nesh Ramdin at the helm of the South squad.

T&T are the de­fend­ing Caribbean T20 cham­pi­ons and will be fea­tur­ing in the open­ing match of the 2013 com­pe­ti­tion against Ja­maica in a re­match of the 2012 cham­pi­onship fi­nal which they won to qual­i­fy for the Cham­pi­ons League T20 in South Africa.

Ad­mis­sion to the match­es are free.
