Npower English Football Championship Division clubs Wolves and Brighton and Hove Albion are both interested in signing out-of-favour Ipswich Town Blues striker Jason Scotland on loan for the rest of the season.
The 33-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of June, has featured only once as a substitute since Mick McCarthy took over at Portman Road and with David McGoldrick, Aaron Mclean and Frank Nouble having signed in recent days, seems destined to leave on loan during this transfer window.
Ipswich is currently 19th on the 24-team table with 30 points from 26 matches, one spot below Wolves which has 31 points, while Brighton is ninth with 37 points and a match in hand.
At the top is Cardiff City with 56 points, seven clear of Hull City followed by Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough, both with 47.
The likes of Nathan Ellington and Ronan Murray also appear set to move on.
League One mid-table team Preston North End have also been monitoring the former T&T international's situation.
Meanwhile, reports in Norway claim the Blues, also the club of Soca Warriors winger Carlos Edwards, is amongst a number of Championship clubs to have inquired about 25-year-old frontman Alexander Sderlund, who plays for Haugesund in his home country. Rosenborg has also been linked with 6ft 1in tall Sderlund, who has two years left on his contract, and who is unhappy that his current club has priced him out of potential moves.
Having signed three strikers in the last week, and with DJ Campbell still on the radar, the Blues would appear unlikely to pursue any interest in the 11-times-capped Norwegian international.
