Goal at­tack Nari­ba Grant con­vert­ed 24 goals from 42 at­tempts, when she led Fire to a com­fort­able 42-25 win over De­fence Force, when the lone Cham­pi­onship Di­vi­sion match was com­pet­ed in the Courts All Sec­tors Net­ball League, on Mon­day.

Fire, smart­ing from a 38-38 draw with UWI just two days pri­or, gained mo­men­tum af­ter lead­ing by one point, 10-9 at the end of the first quar­ter. Fire then led 23-15 at the half, and 32-20 at the end of the third quar­ter, be­fore tak­ing the match by a 27-point mar­gin. Grant was sup­port­ed by shoot­er Aquila Blugh who was ac­cu­rate with 18 from 25 at­tempts. Melis­sa Snag­gs was the top per­former for De­fence Force with 17 goals from 26 tries.

Two Retro Di­vi­sion sawt­wo match­es played, with­leader TSTT and Les En­fants se­cur­ing wins.TSTT se­cured its fourth con­sec­u­tive win in a 27-19 vic­to­ry over Harlem. De­bra Alie and Olivia La Plat­te net­ted 16 goals from 27 at­tempts and 11 goals from 17 at­tempts, re­spec­tive­ly, for TSTT.Mean­while, Cindy Mer­rick was on fine form for Les En­fants, when she sank 34 goals from 44 at­tempts, in her team's 39-16 whip­ping of Les Femmes.
