Hillview Col­lege spin bowler Shameer Mu­ru­dali seems to like the fig­ures of 5/13. It was just three weeks ago, Mu­ru­dali had the same match fig­ures when Hillview de­feat­ed Pre­sen­ta­tion­Col­lege, Ch­agua­nas by ten wick­ets. Mu­ru­dali's 5/13 yes­ter­day, led Hillview to a crush­ing nine-wick­et win over Fa­ti­ma at Mu­cu­rapo Road in the Pow­er­gen Sec­ondary Schools Crick­et League (SS­CL) Pre­mier Di­vi­sion.

Bowl­ing first, Hillview rolled over the Fa­ti­ma bats­men, bowl­ing them out for 54. Jesse Bootan al­so gave Mu­ru­dali sup­port by tak­ing 3/5. On­ly two Fa­ti­ma bats­men got in­to dou­ble fig­ures, Kel­ly Ros­ales (10) and Jean-Paul Rock (10 not out). In re­sponse, Hillview got to their tar­get with the loss of just one wick­et be­hind B. Ram­di­al's un­beat­en 36. Kelum Carim­bo­cas (1/14) was the lone wick­et-tak­er for Fa­ti­ma.

At Hon­ey­moon Park, Na­pari­ma got the bet­ter of El Do­ra­do East by eight wick­ets. Bat­ting first, El Do made 173 all out with Tevon Jadee mak­ing 29, while Na­tion­al Un­der-19 bats­man Ewart Nichol­son pitched in with 22. Jonathan Singh grabbed 4/28 for Na­pari­ma.A rain in­ter­rup­tion re­duced the chase to 102 off 40 overs, and Na­pari­ma cruised to their tar­get in 23 overs. Rober­to Samai (42) and Justin Sankaran (36) were the top scor­ers for Naps.

Union Clax­ton Bay (UCB) bat­ted first when they took on Pre­sen­ta­tion Col­lege at Green Park, Fe­lic­i­ty. UCB got to 186 all out off 45.4 overs with Bran­don Bhim top scor­ing with 41. Al­so con­tribut­ing to the to­tal was Dil­lion Bhim (28) and Wes­ley Bal­roop (23). Among the wick­et-tak­ers for Pre­sen­ta­tion were Emilio Gopaul (3/42), Bri­an Charles (2/28) and Sachin Bal­ai (2/26). Pre­sen­ta­tion's to­tal was re­vised to 149 off 40 overs be­cause of rain. Bri­an Charles led the way for Pres with an un­beat­en 44. Shawn Veal­va (42) and Kamil Pooran (21) al­so guid­ed Pre­sen­ta­tion to a sev­en-wick­et win with two overs to spare.
