South front runners La Romaine and Marabella were awarded the home court advantage for the decisive second leg of the Big-Four competition against their formidable northern counterparts Laventille and Caledonia, when the Hoop of Life Community Basketball League staged its semifinal draw yesterday.
The draw, which was staged at the tournament headquarters on Tragarete Road, saw La Romaine faced with a trip to St Barb's Basketball Court, Laventille, for the first leg, which will played on Friday.
The day following, Caledonia will host Marabella at Paradise Heights Basketball Court, Morvant. Marabella were clearly elated at avoiding the relative tournament favourite, Laventille, when captain Joel Marryshaw made the pull.

And on Monday, Marabella will play its northern counterpart, Caledonia, at the Bayshore court. The matches will be played on a best of two series with the top teams entering the finals based on points aggregate. The Big-Four losers will compete in a third place play off.
