Vice-cap­tain Am­ri­ta Bis­soon led from the front as Cunu­pia Sec­ondary School won their fourth straight Cen­tral Zone Sec­ondary School Crick­et League Girls' ti­tle.

Cunu­pia eas­i­ly dis­posed of the oth­er two teams in the 20-overs per side wind­ball match­es.

Cap­tain Rose­mary Sama­roo had ex­cel­lent fig­ures of 3/10 in four overs as Cunu­pia dis­missed Union Clax­ton Bay for 63 and then raced to vic­to­ry with eight wick­ets in hand.

Bis­soon scored 16 in the chase and re­turned for the next match where she hit an un­beat­en 53 in a 106-run vic­to­ry against Holy Faith Con­vent. CSS scored 166 - 6 from their 20 overs and dis­missed HFC for 60. Bis­soon al­so starred with the ball grab­bing 3/9.

Head coach Rawle Har­ry stat­ed that some of the girls have been part of the team from as ear­ly as form one. Cunu­pia are al­so win­ners of the 2013 Su­per Six­es.
