It's down to the wire to­day in the Pre­mier Di­vi­sion of the Pow­er­gen Sec­ondary Schools Crick­et League, as five schools are still in the hunt to win the league ti­tle in the fi­nal round of match­es.

Lead­ers Hillview Col­lege are com­ing off a huge ten-wick­et de­feat at the hands of Trin­i­ty East. How­ev­er, they will be look­ing to pick up max­i­mum points away from home against a strug­gling Union Clax­ton Bay, who has on­ly won one game for the sea­son.

On cur­rent form, Trin­i­ty is the strongest team as they host Fa­ti­ma. Trin­i­ty, who trail Hillview by four points has won its last three match­es con­vinc­ing­ly, de­feat­ing Princes Town, Cara­pichaima and Hillview by nine, sev­en and ten wick­ets re­spec­tive­ly.

Na­pari­ma will need some help from oth­er teams and get a max­i­mum of 20 points to have a chance of win­ning the ti­tle. They will wel­come de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons Pre­sen­ta­tion Ch­agua­nas to their home ground.

In an­oth­er key en­counter, Princes Town West will trav­el to Cara­pichaima East and El Do­ra­do East will host Iere High School. If two teams fin­ish on the same num­ber of points, the team with the bet­ter run rate through­out the sea­son will be crowned cham­pi­ons.
