T&T's record-break­ing Pan Amer­i­can rep­re­sen­ta­tive Varun Ma­hara­jh has been se­lect­ed for both the na­tion­al track and road teams, when the T&T Cy­cling Fed­er­a­tion (TTCF) named the two squads for the up­com­ing 2013 South­ern Games, yes­ter­day.

On the road team, Ma­hara­jh joins Joshua Alexan­der, Rudy Ash­ton, Gevan Samuel and an on form Ak­il Camp­bell, who has im­pressed at re­cent TTCF cri­teri­um events.Alexan­der is al­so part of the track squad, and joins the likes of reg­u­lars Haseem McLean and Aziki­we Kel­lar.

The event will ped­al off to­mor­row on the South­ern Main Road, Mara­bel­la. Ac­tion will con­tin­ue on Sat­ur­day and Sun­day, at Guaracara Park, Point-a-Pierre.
