Alternative Division league champion UTT added the Fast Five Tournament title to bag on Saturday, when the team dropped TSTT 22-13, at the Eastern Regional Indoor Sport Arena, Tacarigua.

The day’s action saw the Retro and Alternative Divisions in action, with Complete Customs Services (CCS) taking the former title.

CCS also got a win over TSTT in the final, this in a tighter battle, which ended 16-14.

The Retro Division saw Les Femmes concede default losses in all of its fixtures, while Harlem defaulted in the second round.

TSTT challenged Les Enfants in the semifinal round, with the former copping an 18-7 win, while CCS enjoyed a default win over Harlem in the other semifinal.

In the Alternative Division, Costaatt and USC chose not to participate for “religious reasons.”

UTT made light work of Police in the opening semifinal, winning 25-5, while TSTT won both of its fixtures by default.

The matches were played in a “short and fast” double-elimination format. The format allowed for teams which suffered a loss in the first round, an opportunity to redeem itself to qualify for the final.
